Rebecca Strand

(7:00) Rebecca Strand is a singer-songwriter from Aurora who enjoys the simplicity of acoustic music. Her main influences are Damien Rice and Secondhand Serenade, and much of her original music emulates the same raw emotion as those artists. Her style can be described as indie-acoustic. She has been playing locally for the last two years and now balances her time being a part-time student and a performer

(7:30) Perry Bruce started to play guitar listening to the music of Steve Goodman, John Prine and a host of others. After high school, he played the usual venues in a variety of bands and then took time away from music to start and raise a family, but always maintained a steady flow of storytelling, music and fun. He still believes all of those should be in the same package, so it’s off playing guitar and telling stories of life, love and the occasional tragedy!

(8:00) Vanessa Antonino  is a singer-songwriter based in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. She'll play any instrument she can get her hands on and she'll make up a song on the fly if you don't stop her. Her newest toys include a looper pedal, voice effects (including auto tune), and a whole slew of guitar effects. Along with solo shows, she can be seen with Skirt Steak, Chicago's premiere all-lady cover band.
