(7:00) Michael Scott Sumrak is a seeker of words that chime when strung together and the inheritance of breath from the ever passing present passes thru their letters. With a nearly spoken delivery, the combinations found look to unlock images and unite them with the shared sentiments of the collective experience.

(7:30) Marilyn Claes is a solo acoustic performer who uses her knack for song choice and arrangement to eek out sonically interesting presentations. She likes collecting instruments, bicycling, art, and cats. Marilyn can be seen playing out in coffee shops and bars around suburbia.

(8:00) Footsie is a local performer who plays prewar blues, rags and sanctified music. He has played at the Fox Valley Folk Festival, the Bluegrass Festival, Taste of Westmont, and the Green Earth Fest, among other venues. He also gives presentations about blues history at area libraries and civic organizations.

This month Local Music Night will be held outside (weather permitting) by the old train depot across Turner Court from Gallery 200/Studio! Hope to see you there!
